U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Caylor Jones, a 6th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron communications and navigation apprentice, unlatches a cowling door on a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., Nov. 19, 2018. A total of eight cowling doors, two for each engine, protect the power that gets this global aerial refueler off the ground at gross weights of 322,500 pounds.
