6 ARW, 20th FW partner to "accelerate change or lose"

Personnel assigned to the 6th Air Refueling Wing perform pre-flight checklists on a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft at MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), Fla., in preparation for a week-long integration training with the 20th Fighter Wing located at Shaw AFB, S.C., Nov. 29, 2020. This training allowed an opportunity to not only meet and greet with fighter pilots that otherwise would not be possible, but Team MacDill offloaded approximately 650,000 pounds of fuel while refueling 200 fighter aircraft that enhanced each unit’s operational capabilities.
