6th CS mission defense teams protects MacDill from cyber threats

The 6th Communications Squadron set up a mission defense team as part of the Cyber Squadron Initiative at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. The 6th CS Mission Defense Team protects MacDill AFB from cyber threats as well as enable cyber Airmen and Guardians to defend, assure and optimize unit missions in, through and from cyberspace. The Mission Defense Team also deploys state-of-the-art applications to provide mission assurance to their base’s critical missions while mitigating risk. (Courtesy graphic)
