Why did you join the honor guard? I thought that there was nothing better than honoring the men and women who served in before me.
Any special memories? I will never forget how fast my heart was racing during my first ceremony. I was pretty nervous and really wanted to do my best.

Short-term goals: Within the next year I would like to be promoted to SSgt and complete my bachelor's degree.

Long-term goals: In the future I plan on completing a second Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in preparation for Law School.

Advice to others: Take advantage of every opportunity the Air Force offers to better yourself. Do the additional training, use your tuition assistance and stay fit!

Role model(s) and why: My husband has been a true inspiration during my enlistment. He has shown me how important and easy it can be to set personal goals, stay focused and achieve exactly what you've set out to do. His positive encouragement has helped to keep me motivated and optimistic about the future!

Why did you join the Air Force?: I joined the Air Force after completing my fifth semester of college. After two years at two different schools, I still couldn't decide exactly what I wanted to do or where I wanted to be. The Air Force gave me the opportunity to explore a different career option while still continuing my education.
