Colonel Daniel H. Tulley is Commander, 6th Air Mobility Wing, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. He is responsible for the wing's worldwide combat air refueling and airlift missions, and provides installation support to Headquarters U.S. Central Command, Headquarters U.S. Special Operations Command and 36 other Joint mission partners. As the Commander, he is responsible for the security and wellbeing of the base's 18,800 employees and their families, along with $2.8 billion in base property and capital assets.

Colonel Tulley is a 1992 graduate of Duke University. An instructor pilot in three major weapons systems, his experience spans 11 combat deployments and a wide variety of operations. Colonel Tulley is a graduate of Air Mobility Command's PHOENIX REACH and PHOENIX HAWK leadership development programs.

Col Tulley activated and deployed the first active duty C-130J squadron to Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. He commanded two deployed squadrons and later commanded the stand-alone 43d Airlift Group at Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina. Col Tulley was selected for a National Defense Fellowship at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, after which he served on the Joint Staff.

Colonel Tulley is a command pilot with more than 3,800 flying hours in a variety of aircraft.
