Welcome to the MacDill AFB Passenger Terminal home page.

Space Available seats are often limited; therefore, passenger planning and flexibility is key to Space Available travel out of MacDill AFB.

For your convenience, the MacDill AFB Passenger Terminal maintains a 24-hour automated flight information hot-line, (813) 828-2310 or DSN 968-2310. In accordance with AMC Instructions, flights and available seats are announced 72-hours prior to scheduled departure. The automated flight information hot-line is updated daily. A flight schedule is also posted inside the passenger terminal and on Facebook.

The MacDill AFB Passenger Terminal is committed to providing you the best possible service. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

After-hours space available roll call procedures at MacDill AFB passenger terminal:

This new procedure is effective immediately. 

Passengers who desire Space Available travel on flights with Roll Call times between 4 p.m. and 7 a.m., Monday - Friday or anytime on weekends and holidays must inform the MacDill AFB Passenger Terminal of their intent to travel no later than 4 p.m. on the last duty day prior the flight. 

To declare intent to travel, please call commercial (813) 828-2440 or DSN 968-2440. When you call please indicate the destination and date you wish to travel.

For those flights with no interested passengers prior to 4 p.m. on the last duty day before the flight, a Roll Call will not be held.

     - List of dependents names that will be flying

     - Status (Active Duty, Retiree, Dependent, etc.)

NOTE: All dependents traveling with the sponsor must be identified by name (Social Security or passport number is optional).

The following is the current 72 hour flight schedule: Friday April 27th, there are no scheduled flights. Saturday April 28th, one flight to Hickam AB, HI, roll call is 0720 with 10T seats. Sunday April 29th, one flight to Miami INTL, FL, roll call is 1000 with 6F seats. All flights are subject to change at any time.

Recently we've been receiving an increased amount of calls regarding flights to Puerto Rico. At this time we have no flights going there. Thank you.

PSA... SUBJECT: FAA RECOMMENDATION ON SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 7 DTG: 16 SEP 2016 1. THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA) HAS RELEASED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT REGARDING THE USE OF SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 7 USE ON ALL AIRCRAFT. "IN LIGHT OF RECENT INCIDENTS AND CONCERNS RAISED BY SAMSUNG ABOUT ITS GALAXY NOTE 7 DEVICES, THE FAA STRONGLY ADVISES PASSENGERS NOT TO TURN ON OR CHARGE THESE DEVICES ON BOARD AIRCRAFT AND NOT TO STOW THEM IN ANY CHECKED BAGGAGE." 2. ALL AMC AND NAVY OPERATED PASSENGER TERMINALS SHOULD IMMEDIATELY START BRIEFING ALL PASSENGERS ON THIS CONCERN. THE CELLULAR PHONES SHOULD NOT BE PLACED IN THE PASSENGERS CHECKED BAGGAGE. THE CELLULAR PHONES SHOULD BE TURNED OFF AND STOWED AS A CARRY ON ITEM.

Space-A Passengers: Attached are the new updates for Space-A travel for dependents whose sponsors are deployed. The timeframes which governed the authorization for dependent Space-A travel during a sponsor deployment were lengthier, they have now adjusted that. If your sponsor is currently deployed and is having trouble obtaining an "UNACCOMPANIED DEPENDENT OF DEPLOYED MILITARY MEMBER VERIFICATION LETTER", www.amc.af.mil/amctravel has sample copies.
Space-A travel for Reservists: Reservists can travel Space-A in Category VI. They require a current ID card and current DD Form 1853. They are authorized travel within/to CONUS and US territories(Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, PR, USVI, American Samoa). Reservists in Cat VI are not eligible to fly with dependents. When they are activated they can fly Cat III(and take dependents) with leave paperwork. //pal
Nery Munera Can I travel without my sponsor? / Can we travel with a pet? There are certain times when you as a dependent can fly without your sponsor. If your sponsor is deployed for 120 days or more then you are eligible for Cat IV...or Cat III if deployed for 365 days or more. You can also fly back and forth between an overseas duty station if you are a command sponsored dependent. You can not take pets with you when flying Space-A. //pal
