Torch Run
Tech. Sgt. Joe Nixon, member of the 6th Security Forces Squadron, receives the Special Olympics Florida torch from a City of Tampa Police Department Marine Unit at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., embarking on a eight-mile run April 7, 2011. MacDill’s security forces Airmen ran alongside local, state, and other federal agencies carrying the torch to the Tampa Convention Center where they were met by Special Olympics Florida representatives.
