On a clear Tuesday morning, on September 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 people were victims of a coordinated attack against the United States and its values. In honor of those who died during the attacks, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, will host a 9/11 remembrance ceremony on September 11, 2017, at the U.S. Special Operations Command Memorial.
