COLONEL BJ SEOUNG LIM
Col. BJ Seoung Lim is the Commander, 6th Mission Support Group, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla. He leads more than 1,700 military and civilian personnel assigned to six squadrons that provide installation support and expeditionary capabilities enabling global operations for U.S. Special Operations Command, U.S. Central Command, and 44 mission partners. He directs the plans, programs, and services supporting 658 facilities and a base population of more than 16,400 military and civilian personnel while providing installation support for more than 240,000 military retirees throughout the Tampa Bay region. Col. Lim oversees an annual operating budget exceeding $50 million, more than $475 million in military construction, approximately $9 million in service contracts, and nearly $140 million in annual retail operations.
