We continue to make progress recovering the installation and our personnel. As a result, the following activities will resume normal operating hours beginning Wednesday, September 13, 2017:  

 

- Dale Mabry, Tanker Way, MacDill, & BayShore gates

- Diner's Reef (Base Dining Facility)

- Fitness Center to include 24/7 access (starting 4:30 a.m.)

- Lodging

- FamCamp

- Outdoor Recreation

- Rickenbacker's

- Surf's Edge (Catering Only; Boomer's Bar is closed)

- SeaScapes

- Bowling & Snack Bar

- MPF w/limited services due to staffing shortages

- ITT

- Marina

- Education Center

- Base Library

- Professional Development Center

- Base Honor Guard

- All AAFES operations

- Commissary (9 a.m. - 5 p.m. September 13; normal hours starting Thursday, September 14, 2017)

 

Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer the following services on Wednesday, September 13, 2017:

 

- Child Development Center (staffing shortages due to evacuations; will open as soon as possible)

- Youth Center (staffing shortages due to evacuations; will open as soon as possible)

- School Age Care Program (staffing shortages due to evacuations; will open as soon as possible)

- Base theater (scheduled closure; re-opening Sunday, September 17, 2017)

- Box Office Bistro located at Base Theater (re-opening Monday, September 18, 2017)

- Golf Course & Snack Bar (re-opening Friday, September 15, 2017)

- Arts & Crafts (re-opening Thursday, September 15, 2017)

- Base Pool (awaiting water quality testing)

 

On the medical front, the 6th Medical Group will provide limited ops & healthcare Wednesday, September 13, 2017 and return to normal ops Thursday, September 14, 2017.  During this time, beneficiaries (local or evacuated) can seek medical care without a referral by contacting any TRICARE authorized provider.  While a blanket referral waiver is effective through September 30, 2017, if you are in the local area please seek care at the 6 Medical Group (MacDill and Brandon Clinic) starting Thursday, September 14, 2017. 

 

In addition, all beneficiaries can go to the nearest emergency room for emergency medical care.  New prescriptions and emergency refills can be filled at any TRICARE authorized pharmacy through September 15, 2017.
