Judge Advocate - Legal Office

MacDill base legal office provides personal and civil legal services. Air Force legal assistance attorneys cannot assist clients with legal matters for which counsel has already been retained. Service will not be provided to represent members in court, or in administrative hearings. Legal assistance attorneys cannot offer legal advice on criminal issues, official Air Force matters (such as promotions, assignments, or administrative actions), or matters involving personal business transactions (except for Servicemember's Relief Act issues). In cases requiring specialized knowledge of the law, the legal office may recommend consultation with a civilian attorney.
