Command Post
The 6th Air Refueling Wing Command Post is responsible for the overall management and supervision of operations and support activities at MacDill AFB.
Command Post controllers act as the liaison for the 6th ARW commander, group and unit commanders, the base populace and temporary duty personnel and units in whatever capacity required. Controllers flight-follow all MacDill-assigned and TDY aircraft, launch alert aircraft on air sovereignty missions when required and keep the wing commander informed on all aspects of the wing's flying program.
The command post is manned by two certified controllers at all times. Their charge is to be the "eyes and ears" of not only the commanders assigned to Team MacDill, but also higher headquarters at all levels. Command post controllers work closely with security forces, medical personnel, and the base's fire department to maintain the pulse of all events and incidents occurring either on- or off-base that impact assigned personnel, dependents, civilians or aircraft and equipment.
Civilian EEO
Providing discrimination free work environment for MacDill's federal civilian employees. Process complaints of discrimination and provide education services to commanders, and civilian employees assigned to MacDill Air Force Base.
Equal Opportunity Office
The Equal Opportunity Office at MacDill Air Force Base supports all Airmen and Guardians, both military and civilian, as well as joint entities assigned to MacDill, through the Department of the Air Force Equal Opportunity Program. The office provides timely, fair, and impartial services including complaint processing, community outreach, Equal Opportunity training and education, and alternative dispute resolution assistance.
The EO Office ensures personnel have access to trained practitioners and the Department of the Air Force Unlawful Discrimination and Harassment Hotline. The office educates members about their rights to report violations without fear of retaliation, including filing Equal Employment Opportunity complaints for unlawful discrimination and discriminatory harassment, and Military Equal Opportunity complaints for prohibited discrimination, harassment, bullying, and hazing.

Public Affairs
The mission of the 6th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs office is to expand awareness of and build support for the world's most respected aerospace force. This is accomplished by following the public affairs core values - provide trusted counsel to leaders, build, maintain and strengthen airman morale and readiness, enhance public trust and support and achieve global influence and deterrence.

Wing Plans
The 6th Air Refueling Wing Plans Office develops the operational and logistical plans necessary for the execution of the wing's worldwide mobility operations including air refueling and airlift requirements for all assigned aircraft and personnel. We support the wing's global contingency and conventional operations to include the Single Integrated Operational Plan, Aerospace Expeditionary Force, and Aerospace Expeditionary Wing taskings. We manage the base level Logistics Module system, staff the Installation Deployment Officer office, monitor all deployment processes, and are the executive agent for the wing Crisis Action Team. Wing plans administers the War Reserve Materiel program and is responsible for managing all wing support agreements, supporting on and off base agencies.
