The Traffic Management Office has entered peak season. During peak season 60 percent of the base population in or out process. To help ease potential Permanent Change of Station delays, we advise customers to set up an account on the Defense Personal Property System (DPS) website early, even before orders are created, to help speed up the process. DPS is a one-stop shop where members can completely manage their move process without having to set foot in TMO.

Visit the DPS website at www.move.mil for more information on how to set up an account.

Once orders are issued, create shipments in DPS. Members must upload a copy of their orders, signed copy of DD Form 1299 Application for Shipment, signed DD Form 1797 Counseling Checklist and signed DD Form 2278 Application for PPM, formally known as DITY (if applicable). These forms are generated in DPS after each shipment is created.

Once this process is finished,  please send us an email with documents in one PDF file to  TMO1@us.af.mil  to complete your process.

Members must come into the TMO office for assistance if:

1.  They are first-time PCS movers, Retirees and Separatees to receive a MANDATORY entitlement briefing.

or

2.  They are members with shipments going in/out of Non-Temporary storage.

Remember to please remain patient and plan ahead. Desired dates may not always be available or could change due to higher priority and emergency moves. Provide your TMO team with alternate pack and pick up dates at least 5 business days from your original pickup request date when requesting your personal property shipment pickup.

If you need assistance, our office number is 813-828-2600 and are located in building 49, open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m .(closed holidays/weekends).
