Officers' Spouses' Club kicks off membership push Published Aug. 12, 2011 MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- The MacDill Officers' Spouses' Club is kicking off its 2011/2012 membership drive with a Meet & Greet Mixer at Harbor Bay at MacDill Welcome Center on Sept. 15, 2011, 10:30 am - 1 pm. The new Welcome Center is located at 8414 Fortress Drive, MacDill AFB (located to the left of Tinker Elementary School). Cost is $15. MOSC is a social group for spouses with the objective to make new friends, nurture existing relationships, and to raise funds to support military and local charities. Because of the number of commands located at MacDill Air Force Base, we are an all-services Officers' Spouses' Club. Membership is open to spouses of active duty officers, retirees, civilian GS-9 and above. Spouses of active duty reservists and national guardsmen are also welcome. We hold monthly luncheons on the third Thursday of most months starting in September and ending in May. Locations for the luncheons vary to accommodate those who live in MacDill and the surrounding areas of Tampa. Guests are welcome to the luncheon with a reservation. In addition to the luncheons, members can also join activity groups such as Book Club, Bunco and Under 4 Playgroup. More special activity groups will be forming in the future.
