Job Opening at Davis Conference Center

The Davis Conference Center has two openings for a staff sergeant - technical sergeant any Air Force Specialty Code (5- or 7-skill level) may apply for the positions with a report date of June 1.

Duties include tasks required for the daily operations of the DCC:
  • Support to event planning activities, including meeting set up, rearranging conference rooms, and posting informational signs
  • Responsible for identifying and reporting maintenance issues
  • Responsible for working with Conference Coordinator to execute daily schedule 
  • Communicate directly with management staff on conference center projects
The position requires collaborating with team members to ensure the highest level of customer service. The training will include properly greeting and placing meeting attendees in the appropriate conferences. Additionally, DCC familiarization training on customer service and audio visual operations to include: conference projection and sound systems, microphones, and video teleconference (VTC) systems. Knowledge of facility management and experience with managing government purchase card is a plus; however, not mandatory. Because of its technical nature and the investment in training required, applicants are expected to remain in this position for one year.
