They form at 9:30 p.m. dressed in full PT gear every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. They get blank stares from dorm residents trying to figure out who they are and why they are on the track at 10 p.m.

Other nights, one can find them on Bayshore doing pyramid pushups, jumping jacks and running down the rubber path. Their sweat glistens in the street lights with the lights of downtown Tampa in the background.

They are members of the 6th Security Forces Squadron Bravo Flight. Their shift begins at 12:45 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. While most other servicemembers are getting prepared for bed or winding down from their day, the men and women of Bravo flight are preparing for their workout.

"We PT Monday, Wednesday and Friday just like everyone else, except we have to do it at night after our shift," said Senior Airman Alan Evans, 6th SFS Marine Patrol and leader of PT most days.

Bravo flight Airmen work from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. They change into PT gear right after their shift ends and make their way to the Bayshore rubber path or the gym.

Airman Evans added that depending on the PT agenda for that day, they could either be beside the gym or on the Bayshore rubber track.

Bravo Flight's PT varies in activities during the week.
"We do everything from relay races to standard PT tests," said Airman Evans. "Calisthenics and a three to five mile run is a pretty common PT day."

The men and women of Bravo flight stay fight even in the night hours. As Airmen in the dorms are ironing their Battle Dress Uniforms or pulling their Airmen Battle Uniforms out of the dryer, right across the street the members of the 6th SFS Bravo Flight are finishing up their cool down stretches.
