6th Maintenance Operation Squadron inactivation
Master Sgt. Christopher Gulotta, 6th Maintenance Operations Squadron, places the 6th MOS flag and squadron coin in a box, June 11, 2013 at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla. The flag and coin are being shipped to the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force following the 6th MOS inactivation ceremony on June 10, 2013. The squadron, which dates back to World War II as a support unit based near London for American bomber crews flying missions from southern England, has been located at MacDill since Dec. 1, 1994.
