Airman 1st Class Daryl Cooper, a Tactical Air Control Party member from the 19th Air Support Operations Squadron in Fort Campbell, Kentucky launches a multiple flare launcher simulating a rocket attack against an advancing Army platoon in the Avon Park Air Ground Training Complex in Avon Park, Fla. The training scenario is part of exercise Atlantic Strike VI, a U.S. Central Command Air Forces-sponsored training event designed to improve air-ground coordination during urban close air support operations.
