MacDill observes Yom Hashoah
Staff Sgt. Jeffrey Guttveg, 927th customer service technician, prays during the mourner?s prayer during the Yom Hashoah at the base chapel, April 21, 2009. The Yom Hashoah, a day of remembrance, is a day to honor the millions of Jews, Non-Jews, and Liberators during World War II. During this Holocaust Observance, all military members from Macdill are welcome to interact with some of the individuals who survived the concentration camps.
