Honor Flight for hero’s
There is an estimated 32,000 WWII veterans living in West Central Florida area, and Honor Flight of West Central Florida’s mission is to provide them with the opportunity to fly to Washington, D.C., at no cost, to visit the memorials dedicated to them and their fallen comrades. The WWII veterans fought the largest, most widespread war in the world's history. An estimate of 40 to 65 million people died and hundreds of millions were mentally and physically wounded and. the survivors are passing away at a rate more than 900 a day, and many have never seen the WWII monument.
