K-9s conquer water
The 6th Security Forces Squadron, military working dogs section, joined forces with the Tampa, Largo, Clearwater, Hernando, and Pinellas County police department K-9 units to safely introduce controlled aggression in the water at a local water park in Tampa, Fla., Oct. 15, 2013. A total of 31 dynamic duos, five of which were MWD, ran through three various exercises involving the dogs jumping into deep bodies of water and swimming to apprehend the decoy suspect.
