Fueling the fight
A daily fuel quality check ensures the purity of the millions of gallons of Jet-A fuel used on MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., annually. The fuel receives continuous testing of solids levels, excessive water, proper color, fuel system icing inhibitors and corrosion inhibitors to ensure optimal conditions are met for aircraft consumption.
