Fighting fire with fire
A member of the Air Force Wildland Fire Center (AFWFC) uses a drip torch to ignite a site during a prescribed burn at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., Feb. 13, 2016. The AFWFC is a collaborative operation between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the U.S. Forest Service that focuses on fire threats using risk-based data and maximizing shared resources.
