MacDill AFB Photos

One team, one goal; Jet engine mechanics maintain the mission

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. David Humphreys, a jet engine mechanic assigned to the 6th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, inspects an engine mount bolt on a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., Aug. 22, 2017. This type of inspection is a one-time verification across the fleet to ensure the aircraft is serviceable, as these bolts hold the engine onto the wing of the aircraft.
