Protect your smile with a mouth guard!
Airman 1st Class Noah Bentley, a dental laboratory technician from the 6th Dental Squadron, creates a custom removable sports mouth guard used to protect teeth during sports-related activities. To create a custom mouth guard, a patient’s teeth impressions are taken and stone models of the mouth are created from the impressions to produce the mouth guard. The dental lab provides a well-fitting and functioning sports mouth guard to patients in only a few days. Active duty personnel assigned to MacDill Air Force Base can contact the 6th DS at (813) 827-9400 for more information. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Mackenzie Vitale)
