6th AMXS rolls out 9/11 decal to honor KC-135
Senior Airman Alex Dixon, a 6th Maintenance Squadron aircraft structural maintainer, places a 9/11 remembrance decal on a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft in Hangar 3 at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., Dec. 4, 2020. The decal has a bald eagle in front of the American flag with Todd Beamer’s call-to-action, “Let’s Roll”, rallying cry during United Flight 93 in which the passengers took back control from four al-Qaeda terrorists.
