POC: 6 SFS, 828-4314/2898/5791
Although Florida has authorized residents to carry concealed weapons without government-issued permits, the possession and carrying of personal firearms on MacDill remains RESTRICTED. On April 3, 2023, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed House Bill (HB) 543, allowing Floridians to carry concealed weapons without a government-issued permit. HB 543 goes into effect on July 1, 2023, making Florida the 26th state to enact Constitutional Carry legislation.
