    MacDill Air Force Base officials are preparing for Hurricane Irma and the 6th Air Mobility Wing Commander has issued an evacuation order of the base as of 12:00 p.m., Sept. 8, 2017. This order applies to all base residents including housing, dormitories, FAMCAMP and lodging.
