MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Throughout the week of Feb. 26, 2018, the Military and Family Readiness Center is partnering with Grow Financial and Armed Force Banks for Military Saves Week at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.
“During this year’s partnership with Grow Financial and Armed Forces Banks, financial information stations will be available across MacDill to share information pertaining to Military Saves Week,” said Mark S. Stanford, a community readiness consultant with the 6th Force Support Squadron. “These stations will be located in specific areas to encourage Team MacDill to take the pledge to build wealth, not debt.”
According to the official America Saves website, militarysaves.org, Military Saves Week is held annually during the last week of February and is dedicated to help service members, retirees, their families and civilians, promote good savings behavior and help them take immediate financial action.
“Military Saves Week is a great opportunity to help service members and their families set a goal, make a plan and save automatically,” added Stanford.
All personnel are encouraged to take advantage of these free services being offered on base. For any additional questions, please contact Mark S. Stanford at the MFRC at (813)828-0145 or check out the MFRC Facebook page for more information concerning dates and times for financial stations.
