MacDill teams with Shaw to increase air refueling capabilities in contested environments

MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - Aircrews with the 91st Air Refueling Squadron, along with three KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft, traveled to Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, to conduct an integrated training with the 20th Fighter Wing. The integrated training between the 6th ARW and the 20th FW was conducted to reinforce each unit’s operational capabilities. A major focus for the 6th ARW, during the training at Shaw was to strengthen MacDill's capability to provide air refueling support in high threat environments.
