USTRANSCOM commander visits Team MacDill
U.S. Army Gen. Stephen Lyons, U.S. Transportation Command commander, walks off the flight line at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., after being greeted by 6th Air Mobility Wing leadership Feb. 8, 2019. As the USTRANSCOM commander, Lyons visited MacDill to learn more about how the KC-135 Stratotanker helps project and sustain forces whenever and wherever needed. USTRANSCOM is a unified, functional combatant command that provides support to the nine other U.S. combatant commands, the military services, defense agencies and other government organizations.
