A 6th Security Forces Squadron marine patrol boat monitors the Coastal Restricted Area (CRA) surrounding MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, March 7, 2022. Marine patrolmen provide waterborne deterrence, detection and respond to any threat within MacDill’s surrounding waters. The 6th SFS marine patrol unit is responsible for one of the largest CRA’s in the Department of Defense and is the only 24/7 unit in the U.S. Air Force.
