Charles ‘Charlie’ B Haralson: A legacy of service and commitment

U.S. Air Force retired Charles “Charlie” B Haralson is shown in the boom pod of a refueler during flight. Haralson flew on four different types of tankers to include the B-29, C-97, KC-97, and KC-135 and refueled ten different types of aircraft ranging from the F-4 to the B-52 earning him the title of senior boom operator.
